Enzymes abound. They build the natural world and maintain health. But they can be very hard to measure. We focus on development of novel probes for onsite and high-throughput enzymes measurement. This enables rapid evaluation, discovery, and design of new enzymes. Zymosense assays use fluorescent nanoparticles coated in enzymes substrate to ‘see’ the reaction as it occurs. This enables real-time tracking of substrate modification via changes to fluorescence.
