McFarland Clinic is Iowa’s largest physician-owned multi-specialty clinic and was founded in 1946 in Ames, Iowa. With offices in 12 Iowa communities, McFarland’s 290 providers and 1,000 employees represent more than 50 medical specialties/services and provide over one million patient visits annually.
In July 2018, McFarland Clinic opened its newest Clinic, the South Ames Office at the Iowa State Research Park. The Clinic at 3500 University Avenue is located at the intersection of University Avenue and Collaboration Place next to the ISURP Core Facility. The McFarland South Ames Office includes the following specialties and services: Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, Optometry, and Physical Therapy.
