Software Engineering Intern (Summer 2021)

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join the Aircraft Application Tools team.  This position is an exciting opportunity to work on internal and external facing tools used during the development of avionics systems.  The team has an array of technical tasks available meant to develop engineers for the future.  The team will work with our interns on what skills they would like to develop, from aircraft system network configuration tools, tools used internally and externally to create, update and verify separately loadable files used to configure applications on the aircraft, and other tools necessary for the development of aircraft applications.

Software Engineering Intern (Summer 2021)

We are currently looking for Software Engineers to join the Flight Displays Systems team.  This position is an exciting opportunity to work on the Collins Flight Deck software.  The team has an array of technical tasks available meant to develop engineers for the future.  The team will work with our interns on what skills they would like to develop, from Model Based software development with Simulink, verification using python and harness environments using C/C++, simulation and host based tools that provide end users the ability to run flight deck software on a PC for engineers to use to develop software and verification procedures at their desktop, and lastly the team supports virtual avionics that run in Virtual Reality.

Mechanical Design Engineering Intern (Summer 2021)

This is an internship within the Mechanical Design Team for support of design and analysis activities of Gas Turbine Fuel System Components.  Our team is responsible for the design and analysis of Fuel Nozzles, Valves and Manifolds.  This will allow the opportunity to learn and understand the principle of operation of a Gas Turbine Engine and the Combustion System.  These components are highly engineered to the customer requirements.  We partner with world renowned companies allowing you the opportunity to support some of the leading aerospace manufacturers on exciting engine programs.  You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in customer interactions, program management and execution, 3-D modeling and analysis and component testing.
