Success Story

Leveraging resources for business formation and expansion.

In May 2005, Dr. Hank Harris approached the Iowa Small Business Development Center for assistance in starting a company that would utilize his scientific knowledge and put his developed technologies to work. The ISU SBDC provided in-depth assistance on many issues. When Harrisvaccines wanted to expand, the ISU SBDC helped find funding through the U.S. Small Business Administration.
