Iowa State University Research Park is a 400+ acre development with more than 703,000 square feet of current building space. We are located in Ames, Iowa, just south of the Iowa State University campus. We connect tenants with resources they need to profit from their research, including facilities, expertise, technology, financing, recruiting and more.
ISU Research Park is an innovative community and incubator for new and expanding businesses. The Park also helps startup companies develop their potential and nurtures scientific and technological entrepreneurial ventures. ISURP’s mission is to provide an environment where established technology-related organizations and science and technology entrepreneurial ventures can develop and prosper in Iowa.
The ISU Research Park is the City of Ames’ largest commercial tax contributor and employees boast an average salary of more than $68,000 annually. Our pre-incubation effort, The Startup Factory, has in two years spun out 45 companies that are responsible for the creation of more than 50 jobs, and more than $18 million in external funding.
