Job Description
The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
As a Part -Time Student, Quality for JD Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, IA, you will:

Learns how to identify, analyze and apply information to support strategic business process/plans.

Participates in training.

Participates in developmental assignments to gain experience.

Assists management in identifying issues and proposing resolutions.

Performs activities according to project plans and schedule

Engineering or Computer Science major

Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in electrical/computer engineering, mechanical engineering or computer science: others may apply

Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited University

Graduation date of December 2027 or later

Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

Available to work 10-20 hours/week during the academic year

Available to work 30-40 hours/week during the summer semester

Must be able to commute to the work location in Ankeny, IA on a daily basis year-round

Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior standing students are preferred, Senior standing and those pursuing Advanced degrees may apply.
