Job Description

Job Title: Learning Portfolio Consultant (f/m/d)
Department: Sales Enablement & Activation
Location: Flexible / Siemens Global

Overview

Sales Enablement & Activation defines and governs the sales motion architecture, orchestrates adoption and change for all tool rollouts and process changes, and designs shared standards and content for cross-unit enablement – unlocking cross-unit value and turning strong local capabilities into shared, scalable enterprise advantage.

Within it, Sales Enablement defines enablement design standards and partners with SMEs and Sales Units to create sales-specific cross-unit content – governing what content exists, where it lives, and when it is used, while consolidating, standardising, and retiring low-value material to keep the sales asset base focused and current.

The Big Picture

As our Learning Portfolio Consultant, you will own, govern, and streamline our cross-unit enablement catalogue. You will be the architect of portfolio clarity—turning local materials and central assets into a lean, credible, and easily accessible enablement engine that empowers sales teams globally.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Build the Single Source of Truth: Establish and maintain the comprehensive cross-unit enablement catalogue—mapping existing learning assets across all Sales Units and mapping them against real sales roles and skill baselines.

  • Rationalize & Reduce Overload: Hunt down overlap, duplication, and conflicting materials. Partner with stakeholders to consolidate resources, retire low-value assets, and keep our content landscape clean and high-impact.

  • Drive Content Governance: Apply lifecycle frameworks to audit currency and relevance. Coordinate regular reviews with content owners to ensure everything in the catalogue is up-to-date and tied directly to active sales motions.

  • Collaborate Across Boundaries: Engage with Sales Units, subject matter experts, and regional teams to build shared visibility and ensure local innovations feed into our broader enterprise advantage.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Portfolio Expertise: Hands-on background managing, auditing, and rationalizing learning or content portfolios at scale across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Governance Know-How: Deep familiarity with content lifecycle management—knowing how to review, consolidate, and gracefully retire out-of-date assets.

  • Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to map learning content against competency frameworks and role catalogues to spot coverage gaps instantly.

  • A Builder's Pragmatism: You thrive in a greenfielding environment where frameworks are still taking shape. You know how to apply structure and drive momentum without waiting for perfection.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional coordination and influencing skills across time zones, backed by high proficiency in written and spoken English.

You are much more than your qualifications, and we believe in the potential of every single candidate. We look forward to getting to know you!

Please note, this position will be based in the Siemens location where the selected candidate currently is located.
