McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Technical Analyst for its Ames location. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Responsible for building EpicCare ambulatory needs for McFarland Clinic’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. A computer background is not required but the individual will need to demonstrate an ability to pick up on various aspects of software and other technologies quickly. The analyst will configure, test, and deploy the given ambulatory functionality. In this position, the individual will work closely with end users from the clinical departments, members of the EHR team and other committees. The individual will work closely with the training team to develop required training materials.
- BS or BA in Computer Science/MIS/IT/Business or equivalent. -OR-
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing -AND- Possession of a state nursing license.
Days: Monday – Friday – requires willingness to work occasional evening, weekend and holiday hours.
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Previous Ambulatory clinical nursing experience -OR-
- Experience in IT (preferably in Healthcare setting)
