The Opportunity

Ag Leader is seeking a friendly receptionist to manage activity around the front entrance. The receptionist’s primary role will be to establish a welcome environment for employees and visitors and professionally answer and redirect incoming calls.

Responsibilities

  • Primary phone attendant – switchboard operator
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Direct calls and visitors as appropriate
  • Maintain visitor log
  • Sort daily mail both inbound and outbound
  • Process outbound mail via special USPS shipping terms
  • Maintain company vehicle program inbound / outbound
  • Takes care of all walk-in customer drop-offs and pick-ups.
  • Conduct inventory and purchases of office supplies
  • Support business-related meals as needed
  • Support department or company-wide business functions as requested
  • Support Production as needed with light assembly requirements
  • Support with miscellaneous tasks, as needed

 

Requirements

  • High school education or GED equivalent. Some level of college or training certificate in applicable field of studies preferred
  • Prefer 1 year in a receptionist role
  • Prefer 1 year in operator – switchboard capacity
  • 1 year of MS Office
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of USPS shipping terms
  • General office machine knowledge of printers, scanners, and postage machines
