Today’s complex systems require the application of multiple disciplines in their conception, design and manufacture. At the core of this position is driving the adoption of process automation that brings together the various domains in the  Electrical/Electronic (E/E) Systems space. That is, providing vital solutions to customers in the automotive, aerospace, and other industries where complex electrical content is the nature of their products. Additionally, the successful candidate, will leverage E/E Systems in combination of other domains within Siemens DISW to position the adoption of digital threads as part of the Xcelerator solution. As a member of presales team, the successful candidate will drive technical engagements at key customers and interact with the IES segment to provide customer feedback

  • Works closely with area sales management, account teams, and customers to understand business opportunities and requirements.
  • Works directly with customers as part of the sales team during product evaluations to ensure technical milestones are met.
  • Delivers cross IES domain solutions to the AMZ field in coordination with the IES Segment
  • Develop and maintain methods and best practices for flows across multiple domains
  • Drive the dissemination of Multi-Domain best practices across the AMZ IES group
  • Interact with IES Segment domain leaders
  • Represent the field to IES in support of sales campaigns, tool enhancements, and tool requirements
  • Interact with other members of Siemens DISW for the development of complete solutions in support of Xcelerator
  • Work with Domain Specialists on Light House Programs supporting the NPI Process
  • Qualifies technical viability of the opportunity and communicate it to the sales team
  • Works collaboratively with other Pre-Sales Solution Consulting team members to architect a technical solution and ensure mutual success
  • Monitors and reports progress on active technical campaigns
  • Performs Technical gap analysis and recommend solutions to customers
  • Works with Presales Solution Consulting Managers in the development of customer specific objectives for the team
  • Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, and benchmarks.
  • Communicates Value Proposition of Siemens DISW solutions to customers.
  • Maintains ongoing positive relationships with customers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Seeking for an extraordinary, self-driven individual, with the capability and desire to make a significant contribution to the adoption of EE solutions as part of SISW’s Xcelerator
  • Candidates for this position should have industry experience in the automotive and aerospace-defense electrical systems value chain. This value chain spans activities including requirements, architectural definition, network (CAN / LIN) & software (Autosar) definition, logical, electrical distribution systems, harness design, and service.
  • We seek an experienced technical leader with demonstrated success in developing customer solutions, product marketing and project management.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to provide training and demos to customers
  • Work experience: 7 years in electrical distribution systems domain. First-hand experience in using and/or deploying EE Systems Solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of EDS lifecycle as it originates at the OEM architecture phase all the way through to Tier 1 adoption, inclusive of post sales service models.
  • Strong industry experience in Automotive, Aerospace, E/E Systems
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; advanced technical degree desired.
  • Travel: This role requires the candidate be capable of domestic / international travel. Typical travel required: 25%
  • Able to work remotely from a home office

Preferred Requirements:

  • Work experience: 10 years in electrical distribution systems domain. First-hand experience in using and/or deploying EE Systems Solutions.
  • Advanced technical degree Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience with the Capital tool suite
