Position Overview: Genvax Technologies seeks a Molecular Biology Intern to help perform directed research and assist in vaccine development. Your project will be to assist in development and validation of self-amplifying RNA for use in vaccines to improve animal health. This is a unique opportunity to work in the early stages of a startup company. This is a paid internship and runs from May 22nd to August 11th (dates flexible) with potential to stay on through the school year or for post-graduation employment.

 

Essential Job Functions:

● Follow existing SOPs, processes, procedures, and systems to independently conduct experiments

● Assist scientists with other projects as necessary

● Maintain detailed experimental records, reports, and inventories in electronic lab notebooks

● Deliver results in fast changing business and regulatory environments

● Contribute to product, process, or other related improvements

● Perform investigations on product and process defects to identify root cause and implement corrective/preventative action (CAPA)

● All other tasks as needed by the Company
