Kent Corporation has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as an Market Research Intern located in Ames, Iowa at the KENT Innovation Center! We are looking for an enthusiastic Market Research intern to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals.
This internship will help you acquire market research skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from market research projects and services campaigns
- Perform data summarization and market analysis
- Manage and update presentations and deliverables for internal audiences
- Collaborate with Kent marketing, innovation, and product development
- Data collection and summarization duties to support the development and implementation of our marketing strategies.
- Help support, develop, and expand our marketing efforts.
EDUCATION:
- Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree
EXPERIENCE:
- Strong desire to learn
- Solid understanding of different marketing activities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (including a comfort and skill level of working within Excel) and MS Teams
- Knowledge of secondary and primary research processes/practices
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
