McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a LPN/RN for its North Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: Responsible for providing professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Core Values and Promise. Other duties: triaging phone calls per department guidelines and scheduling appointments


  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.


  • Possession of a State Practical Nurse license.
  • Possession of a State Registered Nurse license.
  • Mandatory Reporting
  • Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

Days: Rotating Monday – Friday, Weekends, Holidays

Hours: Rotating M-F 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM/8:45 AM – 6 PM, Weekends 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM, Holidays: 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM

$2.50/per hour pay differential if you work Saturday and/or Sunday. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, ask for details.


  • Previous McFarland Clinic experience preferred
  • Experience in medical office setting preferred
  • Experience with Epic preferred
