Accountabilities
•    substituting customer orders.
o    Create and load the initial allocation table for corn and soy, while working closely with the Corn & Soybean Demand Planners.
o    Focus on variety/hybrid level supply/demand balance, while allowing Supply Chain Planners to manage material level balance.
o    Daily monitoring of allocations – identify needs to adjust for supply or demand changes throughout the season.  Must work with Corn & Soy Demand Planners, as well as the Operations Team, to manage within business rules.
o    Ensure alignment between supply, demand and allocations
o    Lift product allocations per business rules and maintain necessary tables in CropEdge
o    Work with Corn & Soybean Planners to manage allocations during Constraint process (cuts/subs)
o    Work with CropEdge team on upgrades and testing of any new allocation updates.
•    Perform  development, implementation, and management of cross-functional Seeds key performance indicators (KPI’s) to deliver related insights to business owners (e.g., Commercial, P&S, R&D), seeking to drive significant impact and value enabled through data driven decisions across the business.
o    Improves the data availability by acting as a liaison between analytics and IT teams
o    Brings deep understanding of functional area interactions and needs
o    Produces data through SQL / and other programming and develops reports/ dashboards to feed into daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI’s and dashboards
o    Develops data and information structure to ensure “single source of truth”
o    Develop, measure and recommend decisions based on SPL KPI’s
o    Explore and conduct analysis on business improvement opportunities (including ad hoc requests)
o    Creates and modifies computer processes to extract information from company databases
•    Coordinate collaboration between Sales, Marketing and Finance to build and agree on allocation process
Requirements
•    BS/BA Degree (MS preferred)
•    2-5 years of experience with data analysis and preparation, including experience with very large data sets
•    Strong business and collaboration skills, and responsive to service needs and operational demands.
•    Passion and deep understanding of agriculture, marketplace dynamics, competitive environment and Syngenta customer needs.
•    A broad knowledge of agriculture industry and markets is desirable
•    General sales, marketing and technical skills; Supply and/or Planning knowledge, product lines awareness; knowledge of customers and distribution channels; previous seed experience a plus.
•    Understanding of key business drivers for profitable growth
•    Team oriented, goals oriented, and flexible with proven track record in collaborating with multiple stakeholders and driving results, especially via influence management
•    General sales, marketing and technical skills; knowledge of product lines; knowledge of customers and distribution channels; agronomic and seed marketing expertise
