You will help to develop solutions that turns data into meaningful information and ultimately helps to grow more food with fewer resources.
You will help transform digital agriculture by:
  • Create, monitor, and maintain P&S Data in support of company needs and business operations.
  • Interface with IT and P&S functional experts to consolidate and organize information required for creation and maintenance of functional data.
  • Engage with stakeholders (business and IT), create use-case scenarios, identify key performance indicators, develop strategic business, and project plans to deliver analytics and data-driven solutions.
Accountabilities:
  • Define the functional and technical specifications including creation of data models, wireframes, backlogs to deliver insights based on analytic and data-driven solutions.
  • Maintain and deliver the product backlog for data analytics working with the business product owner.
  • Create and prioritize business cases partnering with business stakeholders for data and analytics needs.
  • Partner with different stakeholders within IT and business for requirements sessions, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, and UAT.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and the Global Data Teams responsible for supporting data acquisition needs.
  • Perform ongoing data stewardship, managing data completeness and quality following data governance standards.
  • Manage data quality issues identified via data cleansing process.
  • Maintain data stewardship documentation according to data governance standards.
  • Use of programs to organize, update, and generate information used in multiple facets of Data maintenance.
  • Creation of custom queries to monitor and maintain data and reporting needs.
  • Be the innovator in how we can use data and information as a strategic asset.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field preferred.
  • Broad understanding of information management systems.
  • Experience or knowledge of SAP system, Salesforce.Com, Demand Tools, or related master data management systems.
  • Experience or knowledge of Alteryx or related data cleansing and integration systems.
  • Experience in executing on data strategy and integration.
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering data and analytics solutions.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Visualization tools such as Qlik, or Tableau, or PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of SQL and other database querying capabilities.
  • Data architecture or data modeling expertise.
  • Manages risk and is able to work with complex situations and matrixed environment.
  • Prioritizes tasks and communicates roadblocks as applicable.
  • Skillfully plans, organizes, and monitors performance to meet deadlines and ensure high standards.
  • Sets ambitious strategic goals and performs actions to meet goals.
