The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

As an Adv Eng Sols Part-Time Student for John Deere Product Engineering Center working remote, you will….

  • Develop requirements for advanced radar systems
  • Model and simulate complex radar solutions
  • Prepare methods and collect test data to establish requirements and use cases
  • Correlate lab and field test data with simulations
  • Design radar hardware and perform system prototyping

NOTE: Availability to travel to Urbandale IA or Silvis IL for onboarding and project related along the year with previous alignment.

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.

What Skills You Need

  • Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university.
  • Graduation date of December 2026 or later.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
  • Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.
  • Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.
  • Problem Solving
  • Communication Skills
  • Simulation and Modeling
  • Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Similar. Ideally pursuing Master or PhD program.
