Creating an interconnected community where research and business can prosper.
ISU Research Park’s Phase 3 expansion will integrate more
resources to make the Park an irresistible choice for businesses,
entrepreneurs, researchers and employees. The Park will be developing more than 100 acres,
adding mixed-use facilities, community areas, green spaces, trailways and more.
Connecting Environments: The expanded Park campus will feature lush, open green spaces reflective of the Iowa State University campus (named one of the 25 most beautiful campuses in the U.S.).*
Connecting Innovators: New buildings will feature media-rich shared workspaces, including conference rooms, offices, classrooms and labs that can be utilized by Park tenants, ISU faculty and third-party interests as needed.
Connecting Phases: Interconnected roads, trails and pathways will improve traffic flow (for pedestrians, bikers and drivers) between earlier Phases – as well as the rest of Ames.
Connecting People: The new Park setting will include a Hub Square commons area where people can gather, enjoy recreational activities, get inspired and share ideas. The Hub Square will serve as the true heart of a professional community, with a mixed-use facility featuring retail stores, offices and services to address tenant needs all in one location.
