Tenant Criteria

The ISU Research Park is delegated to serve and advance the interests of science- and technology-based ventures. The following uses are permitted:

• Laboratories, offices and other facilities for research, basic, developmental and applied, and consulting, conducted by or for any individual, organization, or concern, whether public or private.
• Product manufacture or assembly shall be restricted to the manufacture or assembly of technology products that are clearly related to the on-site research and development activities of the tenant, or to manufacturing processes that require high levels of scientific or technological input.
• Pilot plants and test or research facilities in which processes planned for use in production elsewhere can be tested.
• Incidental operations required to maintain or support any use permitted in above paragraphs on the same tract as keeping of animals, experimental plots, machine shops and communications or computer facilities.
• Services that the Research Park Board, in its sole discretion, deems necessary to assist those uses permitted in paragraphs 1-3 above, including but not limited to, accounting, legal, printing, research, childcare, travel planning and mailing centers. However, such services are to remain ancillary to the primary purpose of the Research Park as discussed above.
• Recreational facilities predominantly for Park tenant use (for example, on-site fitness centers).
