Position Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for an Ultrasonographer for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: Direct patient contact during performance of medical diagnostic ultrasound exams, preparatory exam paperwork, ability to communicate with a Radiologist when necessary, knowledge of Epic RIS system and PACS.

This is a partial part-time position. 


  • Completion of an accredited course in diagnostic medical sonography.


  • ARDMS or ARRT (SON) certification
  • Current BCLS certification

Days: Monday – Friday. As needed

Hours:  8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


  • Prefer at least 1 year of experience
