Position Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Receptionist/Patient Registration Rep for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: maintaining reception desk activities, including greeting, scheduling, coordinating appointments and instructing of patients and visitors in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Core Values and Promise.

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED or HiSET.

Days: Monday – Friday. Hours may vary, early and late shifts.

Hours:  Rotating hours: Early person come in 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM and Late person comes in 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM

Experience

  • Keyboard and computer experience
  • Completion of Medical Terminology class required within one year of employment.
  • Receptionist experience preferred, but not required.
