Job Summary

Selected candidate will participate in the Internship Program and work part-time year round as a member of the compensation team. While working, the intern will complete employee compensation project-based assignments in coordination with other members of the compensation team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists in supporting ad hoc compensation related requests by extracting and analyzing compensation data from various systems
  • Assignments will include reviewing and analyzing internal and external data regarding base pay, annual incentives and recognition programs
  • Assists in the documentation of compensation guidance and processes
  • Solves routine compensation problems/questions with limited scope and complexity

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (Green Card) is required.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze data in a structured manor to achieve understanding of the business problem(s) to be solved, and the ability to develop, evaluate and present potential solutions or courses of action with sound analytical support
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical thinking ability, uncompromising customer focus, superior leadership and interpersonal skills, and an overall GPA of 3.2 or above.
  • Must be able to analyze large data sets within Microsoft Excel
  • This position requires a candidate to be able to regularly work in Cedar Rapids
