McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Patient Service Rep for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: registration of patients as a backup to sign-in reps. Responsible for meeting with patients face to face with billing concerns, following up on those concerns to try and get bills paid for the patients or understanding of why not payable. Working with insurance companies and possibly clinical staff. Balancing a cash drawer. Working reports with registration denials & other misc reports. This is a job share position, will need to be able to cover vacation time for counter part’s vacation request. Needs to have good communication skills.
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
Days: Job Share: Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Week 2: Monday and Tuesday.
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM – 24 hours week 1. | 16 hours week 2.
- Customer Service experience
- Medical business office setting preferred.
