This position involves working with a team of engineers to implement solutions to customer communications challenges. The candidate should have the ability to implement algorithms using a combination of software, scripting, and model based development tools such as Simulink. This individual must also possess the capability to independently work within a lab environment to test and verify system implementations on radio hardware.
In addition, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and experience:
Basic understanding of implementation techniques for signal processing algorithms, General knowledge of hardware and software designs along with developmental processes and emerging technologies , Technical cognizance in the following areas highly desirable: multipath and Doppler mitigation techniques, spectral analysis, error control coding, VHDL, DSP software, and data communications systems and protocols, ;
Strong technical communications skills.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field of study from an accredited institution
- Must have GPA of 3.0
- Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework
- US Citizenship required
