The Advanced Operations Engineering Summer Intern student works under the direction of 4-5 Principal Materials and Process Engineers. Job activities include, but not limited to: statistical design of experiments, design and prototyping of test vehicles, conducting experimental processing of test samples, exposing samples to a variety of tests, evaluating the results of experiments, data analysis, documentation, and report writing. The student may also be involved in activities which support the department’s failure analysis work to address urgent production issues. The students are expected to work with a high degree of autonomy and have fun.
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (Green Card) is required.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field of study from an accredited institution
- Must have GPA of 3.0
- Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework
