McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Maintenance Technician II for its Marshalltown office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Performs building maintenance including repairs, installations, general remodeling, and improvements as needed or assigned. Repairs and moves desks, file cabinets, chairs and other furniture and fixtures. Performs all trade skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, as directed by supervisor or other members of Facilities Management. Inspects facilities and equipment to determine installation, maintenance, and repair needs. Maintains inventory of spare parts and maintenance equipment. Installs and repairs floor and wall coverings. Assist with wall board repair, patching, plastering, painting, or concrete work as needed.
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
- Trade or vocational school diploma with courses in blueprint reading, electricity.
Days: Monday – Friday. Occasional On Call and evening hours.
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Mechanical and electrical trouble diagnostic trouble shooting.
- Needs to be able to read construction drawings and be able to work from these documents for troubleshooting problems.
- Three years of previous experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work and HV/AC.
