Job Responsibilities

Acquires skills and knowledge to perform routine activities under direct supervision.

Analyzes, estimates, or reports production costs relative to scheduling, cost, energy consumption or logistics in order to track production data.Core

Works with cross-functional teams and internal customers across the business unit to acquire a better understanding of the business and customers as well as securing the proper team for resolution of issues.

Identifies the concerns of the customer, probes for answers and actively listens to understand the customers’s business. Customers, in this case are internal (such, as production, and external).

May Provides input to the physical layout of machinery and the most efficient sequence of operations and work flow.

May provides input to the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings.

Provides input to the allocation of resources, materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment for each project.

Understands, complies with all policies and procedures related to production.

Resolves production issues in a timely manner using strong communication and collaboration.

Develops tools, in compliance with procedures, to aid production in efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship is required.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
