The Collins Aerospace internships are for undergraduates and are one of the cornerstones of the company’s high education recruiting strategy. Students hired into this program represent our pipeline of talent – our future executives! This program provides an opportunity for a short-term, full-time work assignment for students pursuing degree programs directly related to our core business. These internship opportunities are starting in the summer 2019. The company’s goal is to relate employment opportunities to the student’s academic studies and enhance the student’s academic training, practical experience, professional growth, and personal development.

Primary Responsibilities:

Candidate will have responsibilities to:

  • Support recruiting efforts including implementing recruitment initiatives
  • Participate in reviewing resumes and interviewing prospective candidates
  • Coordinate interviews and candidate flow
  • Challenging robust projects that will provide practical experience
  • Assist with process improvement across multiple sites
  • Identifying process improvements and creating standard work

Education:

  • Pursuing a degree and enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources related field or a MBA.

Qualifications: Basic, Preferred, and Desired

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum 30 credit hours or higher in an accredited university
  • Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be pursuing a degree and enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Human Resources related field or a MBA.
  • Students should be enrolled in school full time and be able to work up to 20 hours per week while going to school.  This role will provide exposure to various HR responsibilities and provide an excellent foundation as an HR professional.
  • Days/hours are flexible.

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including PowerPoint and OutlookNothing matters more to Collins Aerospace than our strong ethical and safety commitments.
