This position is for a motivated Electrical and/or Computer engineering intern to participant in a Global Positioning System (GPS) Antenna Electronics signal processing project. This project will develop enhancements to our current signal processing algorithms. This position will provide the opportunity to work on tasks related to Model Based Development and high-end Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) System
on a Chip (SoC) technology.
Duties will include project requirements capture, designing and modeling signal processing algorithms in Matlab/Simulink, implementation in FPGA fabric and embedded software, analysis and verification of implementation in simulation and FPGA SoC hardware. Candidate must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be proactive when seeking needed information from other personnel. The candidate should be efficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word and Power Point, and Excel, Knowledgeable in digital signal processing, experience in Matlab/Simulink, experience in C real time software, and familiarity with spatial array processing. Exposure to FPGA design tools and GPS familiarity is a plus but not required.
