McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a EHR Learning Coach for its Ames location. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: work collaboratively with physician-led committees to access and identify provider development needs, interventions, and resources to align with McFarland Clinic’s strategic priorities and initiatives in regards to the EHR project. This position facilitates provider learning opportunities on an individual basis or in a group setting and will produce periodic reports outlining training needs, effectiveness, recommendations, and provider benchmarks. Additional aspects of this role include facilitating monthly meetings and communicating change initiatives to assigned clinical areas, developing educational materials, continued learning of system functionality and workflows, and other duties as assigned.
- Current EpicCare Ambulatory Certification
- Graduate from an accredited school for licensed practical nursing and possession of State Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possession of State Registered Nurse license.
Days: Monday – Friday with some early morning, evening, and weekend hours.
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- McFarland Clinic experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with EpicCare Ambulatory.
- 1+ years facilitating or developing training for adult learners.
- 3+ years clinical experience in an ambulatory setting.
