Position Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Auditing Specialist for its Carroll office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: Provides coding assistance of physician services based on physician documentation. Prepares and analyzes statistical data and monitors reimbursement for new codes/procedures. Informs physician and support staff of updates in coding. Monitors insurance reimbursement and maintains files.

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
  • Associates degree in business or related field.

Days:  Monday – Friday.  Some overtime may be required.

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of medical experience with exposure to coding activities or additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience.
  • Knowledge of medical coding.
