FORMAT:
The morning of September 24, we will host an open seminar at Iowa State University's Howe Hall Auditorium hosted by the CyberInnovation Institute, and several academic departments. Our presenters from Amazon.com, and IBM will present to the academic community on challenges, potential points of collaboration and research. The session will also include a networking and question and answer session at the end to entertain further ideas/sharing.
In the afternoon, Get Your Head in the Cloud will host a more focused group by invitation only that span a range of industry constituents from some of the largest, most influential companies in Iowa, and the speakers from our morning session. The session is intentionally small, so as to maximize the one on one time and collaborative nature of the event.
Our goal for this session is to dive deeper and more strategically on cloud computing, both from a technology and business perspective. We believe this session will be of great value to both the IT and CTO leaders of some of Iowa’s most influential companies, as well as give the leaders from both Amazon and IBM an opportunity to further explore opportunities for growth in the cloud as well as collaboration.
The morning of September 25, our speakers will engage the entrepreneurial sector/community and developers in a similar conversation, although this portion will be a panel discussion, and exercises that invite collaboration, question and answer sessions following brief targeted presentations by each industry expert.
This session is open and free of charge it is our goal to bring together software companies, developers and technical minds together, engage them in a series of discussions and activities and ultimately foster communication between these organizations and the Amazon.com and IBM teams.
REGISTRATION:
Registration is required, but the events are all FREE of charge. The events both the morning of September 24 and September 25 are open to everyone. The event the afternoon of September 24 requires an invitation.
