Do you own a small business or are wanting to become an entrepreneur? Then join us next week for 1 of 2 FREE Department of Defense (SBIR) Phase I proposal workshops. These workshops will take place in both Ames, IA and Cedar Rapids, IA.
DOD SBIR contracts provide small businesses (fewer than 500 employees) with $150,000 for a Phase I project focused on Proof of Concept, and $1M in Phase II focused on Prototype Development and field testing in the form of contracts. Successful projects will also have Phase II opportunities selling into the DOD.
The workshops will be led by Jim Greenwood and will provide an overview of the SBIR program with a focus on DOD and other contract agencies. You’ll have the chance to learn what it takes to win a DOD SBIR and go through all the sections of a typical proposal.
Join us next week for either of the workshops to find out how your company can take advantage of this non-dilutive capital. Free lunch will be included in both workshops.
