Join us Friday, May 19 at NOON for the May edition. We'll be joined by Workiva's Rachel McClung to talk about user experience.

Rachel will dive into what user experience is in terms of the digital space and how her work as a visual designer supports what happens day to day at Workiva.

About the Talk:

Rachel will dive into what user experience is in terms of the digital space and how her work as a visual designer supports what happens day to day at Workiva.

Every application you interact with provides an experience, whether positive or negative. What design considerations shape the user experience, and how are they reflected in the interface design? Join us for a look inside ux design at Workiva.

About Our Speaker:

From a young age, Rachel knew she wanted to create digital experiences. The educational computer games at her local library were intended to teach kids a few things about colors and numbers, but for Rachel, the takeaways were even bigger.

Today, Rachel is a senior visual interface designer for Workiva, maker of cloud-based financial reporting software for the Fortune 500. Having worked at startups both large and small, she understands the diverse challenges faced by user experience designers. When not contemplating the finer points of design, she can be found practicing yoga and romping with her dog.
